Transfer Gossip: Chelsea Eye Ayari, Arsenal’s Gyokeres Plan

European clubs are actively exploring potential moves ahead of upcoming transfer windows, with Premier League sides featuring prominently in the latest round of transfer rumors. Major clubs including Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are reportedly linked with new signings or evaluating squad contract situations.

Chelsea Chase Ayari as Barcelona and Real Madrid Track Manzambi

Chelsea have entered the race alongside Turkish side Galatasaray to sign Brighton’s 23-year-old Swedish midfielder Yasin Ayari. The player’s recent performances have placed him on the radar of several European clubs looking to strengthen their options in central midfield.

Meanwhile, Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are monitoring 21-year-old Swiss international Johan Manzambi following his impressive start at Aston Villa. Elsewhere in England, Everton are keeping tabs on Dinamo Zagreb’s 24-year-old Croatian forward Dion Beljo as part of their considerations for the January transfer window.

Arsenal’s Pursuit of Uzun and Gyokeres Future

Arsenal are currently leading the race among Premier League teams to sign 20-year-old Turkish midfielder Can Uzun from Eintracht Frankfurt. The North London side are looking to bolster their attacking midfield options with the young talent.

In terms of potential player departures, Arsenal are aiming to recover the £55 million fee spent on 28-year-old Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres. However, any potential deal is considered far more likely to take place at the end of the season rather than during the mid-season window.

Reports also suggest that Real Madrid’s 26-year-old Brazilian winger Vinicius Jr was strongly tempted by a move to Arsenal during the summer transfer window. Despite that previous interest, the forward now intends to remain with Real Madrid for the remainder of his professional career.

Liverpool and Manchester United Target Young Prospects

Liverpool have registered interest in 18-year-old Mexican midfielder Gilberto Mora from Tijuana, joining a selection of top European teams tracking the teenager. Meanwhile, the Anfield club are in no hurry to open contract extension talks with 27-year-old Argentine midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, despite his strong form this season.

Manchester United are among several continental clubs monitoring FC Twente’s highly rated 18-year-old Dutch center-back Ruud Nijstad. In the Championship, Sunderland are readying a fresh bid to sign Sporting CP’s 25-year-old Mozambique winger Geny Catamo when the January window opens.
